Extended Family Portraits ✿ Rochester Family Photographer

We traveled to Pennsylvania to celebrate the holidays with my husband's extended family recently. Our gift to everyone was family portraits :) It was nice to be able to capture & preserve these memories for them all. Time passes so quickly, how will you remember these fleeting moments? Happy Holidays from our family to yours!

Window Light ✿ Rochester Child Photographer

I love the simplicity of a black & white lifestyle image, illuminated with only window light. This is different from my usual style, but there's just something about this image that I love (aside from the fact that it's of my favorite little guy ;)!!! In light of recent events, I felt this was an appropriate post for today. Our thoughts & prayers go out to the town of Newtown CT - let us not take one moment for granted & remember to always find the good in life.

Margie's Holiday Portraits ✿ Rochester Portrait Photographer

This lovely woman is my very own mom :) As time goes on people tell me more & more how much I'm starting to look like her - I should be so lucky! Of course I've also inherited her dislike for being in front of the camera (but really, what woman doesn't), so I'm trying to encourage women everywhere to be on the other side of the lens more often. Every fleeting moment is a memory gone by - stop, capture & preserve those moments before they're gone forever. Happy Holidays!
